Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) is a five-star quality rating and improvement system administered by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. SUTQ recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards that exceed licensing health and safety regulations. The program standards are based on national research identifying standards which lead to improved outcomes for children. Once again, Bowling Green Preschool has earned the top 5-star rating by exceeding rigorous criteria in meeting the needs of children. BG Preschool is one of only two preschool or early learning centers in Bowling Green to earn the 5-star rating.
Congratulations to the teachers, support staff and office staff who consistently earn this top honor!
Bowling Green Transportation will be encouraging parents to download and use the Traversa Ride 360 app. Parents can access their child's secure data for bus stop location, route, and pick up and drop times. The app also allows push notifications from the Transportation Department to inform parents of pickup and drop-off schedules, delays, changes in bus assignments, and other important information to the Ride 360 app.
Details will be emailed to parents in mid-July and updated on our Ride 360 information page in the coming weeks.
Coming in July! BG Schools is moving from MySchoolBucks to an improved online payment experience called PaySchools Central. This new system is more cost-effective, has more advanced features, and will be more convenient for our parents to use.
Parents/guardians will be required to create an account with PaySchools Central in order to submit online payments. The site can be accessed via an online portal or via a convenient mobile app. Balances in MySchoolBucks will be transferred to PaySchools Central.
Details will be emailed to parents in July and updated on our PaySchools Central information page in the coming weeks.
BG Schools has moved to online enrollment and registration for the 2023-24 school year using FinalForms. Parents of student athletes have been using FinalForms for the required OHSAA forms for several years, and the district opted for this cost-effective solution so that parents can complete and update all required forms in one place.
In July the district will be sending a notification for all parents to log into their FinalForms accounts to review and sign off on their existing forms and to sign the added forms that typically come in the fall packets. Parents should have all forms signed prior to students receiving their schedules and homeroom assignments.
Parents who needing assistance with their accounts should email Beth Krolak at bkrolak@bgcs.k12.oh.us
